The Machinist Advanced Class for Lost Ark is Set to Arrive in September
Lost Ark is releasing its 18th Advanced Class to its roster. What can players expect from the Machinist (Scouter)?
Zipping through the battlefield, the Machinist (Scouter) class will finally arrive in Arkesia. The August-September roadmap revealed a lot of upcoming content in the game, from a new class to a much-anticipated Legion Raid. Fans are most excited about Scouter’s release. When can characters create the Machinist for their Lost Ark accounts?
The Machinist Advanced Class (Scouter)
The following advanced class will be under the Gunner primary job. The Scouter utilizes various technologies to deal with their enemies. Machinists use sub-machine guns as their primary weapons, assisted by a companion drone. This–paired with their various futuristic arsenals such as lasers–helps them clear the battlefield in record time and collect Lost Ark gold.
The futuristic setup of the Machinists gets even more high-tech once they use their Hypersync ability, which transforms their Drone into a suit of armor. This skill allows them to use advanced gear and power up their capabilities. This state will last until all energy is spent from battle. Gamers can generate energy again by hitting their opponents with their attacks and abilities.
The Machinist’s Kit
The Scouter has two main Engravings, complementing its kit’s various aspects. These are the Arthetinean Skill and the Legacy of Evolution. Arthetinean Skill augments and empowers the damage and combat stats of the Drone, while the Legacy of Evolution strengthens and reduces resource consumption of the Hypersync mode.
Most players focus on building the Machinist with the Specialization stat. Maxing this attribute allows players to transform more often and deal more damage in their Hypersync state. The Arthetinean build is a cheap alternative, but it scales lower compared to the Legacy of Evolution set.
Lost Ark Classes
The Machinist Advanced Class is the eighteenth job to be released in Lost Ark. The latest ones were the Arcanist and the Destroyer class. Arcanists rely on channeling their magic through their cards. Meanwhile, Destroyers carry around large hammers to smash or bonk enemies in their way.
Five more advanced classes are yet to be released in Lost Ark NA. Fans speculate that the Reaper or Summoner Mage will be the next in line after the Scouter’s release, with other jobs such as Female Berserker, Aeromancer, and Artist expected to go live much later.
Other Upcoming Major Updates
Aside from the Scouter Advanced Class release, there are other features scheduled to go live during the August-September updates as well. Players should expect a new structure within their Player Strongholds for the August patch. The Pet Ranch is set to go live this month, wherein players can interact with their companions and receive various rewards.
The Maharaka Festival will also be getting new updates. Players can start collecting leaves from the Maharaka Tree, which players can trade for cosmetics and other materials. It is expected that the event will last until the next major update.
One particular quality-of-life update is the implementation of a world chat. This will allow players to communicate with other adventurers from other servers. Several worlds will also be merged to stabilize player count in servers with dwindling numbers.
Another prominent feature for September is the release of the third Legion Raid. Kakul-Saydon will bring his Midnight Circus into Arkesia for the Mayhem Legion Raid; the mad jester will be the third boss for this end-game content.
Players must have an item level of 1475 to enter this raid challenge, but they can try out the Rehearsal version with only 1385 Item Level. The catch is that gamers won’t get rewards for completing the Rehearsal; however, it allows them to learn and practice the mechanics before they do the actual raid itself.
Prepare Your Machinist For The Raids
Once the Scouter class is released, players should be ready to spend a bit of Lost Ark gold to boost them up to Tier 3. Using power passes in this job is definitely worth it for gamers who are looking for some futuristic gameplay. Reach 1475 and face Kakul Saydon and his Mayhem Legion with the Machinist!
