Blackpink Asia Tour Cities and Dates Details Revealed
Blackpink is known as the ‘face’ among generations of K-pop girl groups within the Korean music industry. Blackpink is recognized for their energetic and bombastic electropop pop hits, and their production design reflected that spirit.
In August 2016, Blackpink made its debut in the industry with the track ‘Square One.’ Since breaking into the music industry, the band has earned international acclaim for being the highest-charting female Korean act on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 13 with 2020’s ‘Ice Cream.’ They also debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with their debut album, The Album, published the same year. It’s also the best-selling album by a Korean girl group, and the first to sell over a million copies.
Even though they rarely have a comeback each year, every comeback is always well-received by K-pop fans because the comeback is usually followed by a world tour. That is why Blackpink is a hot topic in the entertainment world today, as the group has earned extra attention and expectation as a result of its huge scale global tour called BORN PINK, which began in October 2022 and will end in June 2023.
Blackpink is also all set to make two stops in the Middle East—Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi—as part of their Born Pink World Tour, in fact, the girls is to become the first girl group to hold a solo concert in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi. For Saudi Arabia, Blackpink’s first performance in Riyadh will be included as part of Riyadh Season’s third edition.

According to YG Entertainment, the BORN PINK World Tour will be the largest-scale tour by any girl group in the K-pop business and is set to create massive ripples in the global entertainment industry. The four-member girl band has embarked on their world tour by performing in their home country capital, Seoul, on 15 October, followed by more than 20 cities in North America, Europe, and Asia, putting Blackpink on a tight schedule until June 2023.
Their performance in the world tour is expected to include many costume changes, elaborate choreography, and a chorus of dancers. The concert will also give each band member a chance to perform a solo. A lot of K-Pop fans anticipated moments like where the girls would engage in banter, engaging with both one another and the audience with comments about their love for the city they are currently in.
