Zelina Vega Unhappy Her WWE Return Has Been Spoiled Online

On the latest episode of Out of Character Podcast with Ryan Satin, Zelina Vega talked about her relationship with Triple H and how he’s helped her throughout the years. Vega mentions the nickname she and her husband, Malakai Black, often call him, and explains how it feels when she reveals that she will marry Black and not Andrade.

“As a manager, as a person,” says Zelina. “We call him ‘Papa H’ because he’s been there in everything, every part of our careers even on the main roster. Anytime we had questions, whether professional or personal, he was always there for us. He always gave me the confidence I needed, the extra push I needed. He’ll say things like, ‘There’s no one like you right now, not even on the main list. You can do this.’ Little things that I needed, and it took me to the next level.

“Even when I told him, ‘Hey, um, I’m getting married.’ He was like, ‘Oh, okay, so you and Andrade are getting married?’ No, me and Aleister. He was like, ‘What, wait? You guys completely threw me away with that. I didn’t even think you guys were together! ‘ I said, ‘Yes, we hid it for a long time.’ He was so happy, and he was like, ‘My kids are getting married but not the kids I… I’m so happy for you guys.’ It’s really cool, he’s Papa H”

Zelina Vega return to WWE in July as a surprise participant in Women’s Money 2021. The Newly crowned ring queen talk about her comeback not being saved as a surprise, and why she’s unhappy to learn her surprise comeback is spoiled.

“What makes it funny is that at the time it was released, I wasn’t really back yet,” Vega said. “It really wasn’t a thing yet, and I knew they were filming something for my husband so that’s what I was there initially. It makes it funny because I said, this isn’t even 100% yet, you’re all saying that but then you don’t know the specifics. But I can’t tell you the specifics, so shut up, stop.
