YouTuber builds a gaming PC out of a work toilet

A YouTuber turned a working toilet into a PC, creating what may be the first toilet that can both handle your waste and play games Counter Strike Global Offensive. What a world we live in!

As discovered by Eurogamer, YouTuber Basically, Homeless struck a deal with electronics store Microcenter to build a gaming PC in an actual toilet, complete with all the associated plumbing and water. It’s a wild thing, but not surprising. You see, since toilets and video games have existed, many have tried to combine them. Even I heard the call of that siren and tries to poop and play at the same time. Countless others do this while playing games on their phones.

But at heart, Homeless didn’t just want to put a switch, or a phone, or even a steam deck in the bathroom. Instead, he wanted to create a setup that would allow him to play 120Hz FPS shooters with a mouse and keyboard while sitting on a toilet. And he documents the entire process in his videoI was shocked by both the end results and the lack of planning.

The way this thing works is that one half of the tank holds all the toiletries along with the water. He then built a “water wall” out of Plexiglas and glue. On the other side of the wall are all the computer parts. The idea was to keep them separate so you can flush the work toilet while playing games. A fan is also built into the lid to help keep the PC cool.

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that when he first connected the toilet to the water supply, his hacked-together “wall of water” failed and he ended up having to Use an entire can of Flexseal in the tank to protect the valuable PC electronics. Now that he’s got everything working (including the RGB lighting), the finished PC/toilet hybrid is oddly impressive. Thanks to a large cut-out in the front, you can see both the working toilet and the running PC.

According to Basic Homeless, he had to learn basic plumbing and how to cut porcelain to make this bizarre PC. The end result is both a conversation starter and a man who can now fix his own toilet. Truly a win-win situation. YouTuber builds a gaming PC out of a work toilet
