Young man dies in motorcycle accident in Sydney’s inner west

A man died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s inner west on Monday afternoon.

The motorcyclist, who has yet to be formally identified, was traveling along the Boulevarde in Strathfield at around 4.50pm when he collided with a car.

“The male motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident. He has not been formally identified but is believed to be in his 20s,” New South Wales Police said.

The 37-year-old driver of the car was uninjured. She was taken to the hospital for mandatory tests.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.

Anyone with dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Additional charges are expected to be filed against the suspected DUI driver.
