“You can fight Tommy on my undercard”

JJ Olatunji, aka KSI, has been boosting internet sensation Jake Paul for the last few years. Although JJ has now made peace with Jake’s older brother Logan Paul following their struggles in the boxing ring, the British boxer just can’t come to terms with the younger brother. The two have been going back and forth for some time. KSI even named Jake as one of the top targets on its hit list.

JJ will now fight Alex Wassabi in August, which can be seen on DAZN Boxing. British boxer Paul jokingly offers a spot on his undercard on August 27 following Jake’s cancellation of Hasim Rahman Jr. The fighter responded to Jake canceling the fight against Hasim in a recent YouTube video of him. “Jake should have accepted my offer, should have fought for my undercard. There’s still time, you can fight Tommy Fury on my undercard.” said JJ.

Jake was originally scheduled to fight Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury’s younger brother, but the British boxer pulled out at the last moment due to VISA complications. Jake has had his opponents call off the fight three times in a row now. Hasim Rahman Jr. was supposed to be Tommy’s backup but now that fight seems to be going down the drain as well.

Why was Jake Paul canceled against Hasim Rahman Jr?

Jake and Hasim were originally scheduled to fight each other at SHOWTIME PPV on August 6th at Madison Square Garden. The fight was priced at 200 pounds and both fighters officially signed the contract. Hasim is a well-known heavyweight and has never come down to 200 pounds. The fighter admitted he cannot weigh 200 pounds.

However, the fight was stopped by Jake, according to the professional boxer. Hasim cleared up all the rumors about his weight loss on the Internet with an Instagram video from his official account. “My body just wouldn’t allow it. It didn’t let me get down to 200 pounds.” said Rahman Jr. in his Instagram video. The fighter claimed Jake canceled the fight weeks prior, which is very unusual in a boxing event.

“Where in boxing do you see them canceling fights a full week in advance? I didn’t even manage to get down as low as possible in my last week.” said Rahman. Hasim also offers to fight Jake, taking a penalty for his weight loss and even fighting for at least $5,000.
