‘You are and always will be a legend’ Bucs’ teammate Rob Gronkowski sends a heartfelt but hilarious message to Tom Brady after announcing his retirement

Rob Gronkowski was one of my closest friends and teammates, Tom Brady. The two share 11 years together, playing for both the Patriots and Buccaneers. Gronkowski played with Brady his entire career, and when Brady switched to the Bucs side, Rob quickly joined.

So when Brady decided to retire and post this Video On Wednesday, Rob Gronkowski might have been surprised, but he still managed to break a heartfelt but hilarious message to his GOAT friend.

Earlier last month Rob believed Tom still had the game in him and while appearing on Fox he said: “He can still play the game and he’s probably getting treatment on his arm as we speak. So he will be ready to go next year.”

“But let me tell you; it will be the situation that fascinates him the most. Whatever opportunity he’s most excited about playing football, that’s where he’ll be next year,” added Gronk.

Now that Brady has retired, he’s following in Rob’s footsteps for the second time. Gronk couldn’t help tweeting one of Brady’s most amazing tribute tweets.
