Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians by 3 runs in a thriller the Men in Orange must win. Bhuvneshwar Kumar rolled brilliantly in the final over with a wicket maid over. SRH was asked to bat first and so they added a challenging 193 total.
Rahul Tripathi added more runs before being sacked by Ramandeep Singh. Ramandeep rolled around the wicket and served it length. Tripathi swung his racquet but a top edge sent the ball flying to Long-on where Tilak Varma took it. He had hit 76 of 44 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes.
Speedster Umran Malik scooped the most wickets for SRH with 3 wickets, dismissing Ishan Kishan, Daniel Sams and Tilak Varma. Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 23 runs in his 3 overs and was awarded the ball in the penultimate over and what happened? Four Yorkers were delivered consecutively to ‘Yorker Kings’ Jasprit Bumrah for his maiden wicket in a maiden over.

“Obviously, when you play, your dream is to represent your country” – Rahul Tripathi
The player of the game Rahul Tripathi said:
“I enjoyed hitting by three. It is important that when the opening players get off to a good start, it continues. Or whatever the situation calls for, I try to learn from it. Bumrah is a great bowler. I just wanted to react to what he’s bowling.”
“Depends on how the wicket plays how I can counter at that point. If it’s there and I can take it, I’ll definitely go for the shot. If it’s not there, I’ll just try to take those singles-doubles. Winning games is more important, I’m glad I was able to do that today.”
“Sometimes when a bowler bowls well, how do you score those runs. In T20, there mustn’t be a moment when you can slow down. Every ball is an event so I’m just thinking what the best outcome might be. Of course, when you play, your dream is to represent your country.”
