Ye is running for president and has asked Trump to be a running mate

rapper Her, maybe better known as KanyeWest, asked the former president donald trump To be his running mate on Thanksgiving Eve in 2024.

“I think what worried Trump the most was that I asked him to be my vice president,” West said in the video. “I think that was like further down the list of things that caught him off guard.”

The video – accompanied by the caption “#YE24” – was posted to Twitter a week and a half after Trump announced he would run for president again in 2024.

West, himself a former presidential candidate, ran unsuccessfully for the White House in 2020. BBC reported that he garnered 60,000 votes in the 2020 presidential election.

The video said “Mar-a-Lago Debrief,” suggesting the couple met at Trump’s Florida estate. “I came to him as someone who loves Trump, and I said, ‘Go get it Corey [Lewandowski] the back. Go and get these people that the media wanted to cancel and told you to pull out,” West said as video showed images of them Roger Stone, Karen Giorno and Alex Jones.

West was recently caught up in a storm of controversy when he made anti-Semetic comments at Paris Fashion Week and wore a t-shirt that read “White Lives Matter.” Numerous companies, perhaps most notably Adidas, have terminated their partnerships with West following his comments; The rapper then wrote on Instagram that he lost “two billion dollars in one day”.
