Yankees baserunning lowlight package is worth watching for all the haters (video)

The New York Yankees suffered another devastating loss to the Mariners on Tuesday night, thanks in part to their own mistakes.

Base running errors are impossible to overcome, even for the most talented teams. The New York Yankees are one of those teams, despite their recent struggles.

The Americans are 3-7 in their last 10 games and the stretch after the all-star break hasn’t been good for them. Dog Days in August were particularly unkind to Aaron Boone and company.

On a West Coast road trip, the Yankees could use a win. The Mariners were in no mood to give on Tuesday.

In a 1-0 ball game, there was little room for error for the M’s. Luis Castillo threw eight scoreless innings, passing frame for frame to Gerrit Cole.

Yankees errors catch up with them against Mariners

New York’s baserunning blunders have all been compiled on social media, and they look brutal now that baseball fans know the bottom line.

The clip begins with Aaron Judge being inexplicably kicked out as he tries to steal second base to end the seventh inning. The judge of all people should know better than to make the last out on second base.

Fast forward to the tenth inning when the leading Yanks baserunner was kicked out en route to third base. The list goes on, as does the clip.

As a result, a frustrating stretch for New York baseball fans continued. Better in August than October, of course, but the Yankees are starting to show a few cracks in their armor.
