Xia Li’s WWE drawings of her new character made her sister cry

WWE included several NXT calls as part of this year’s Draft edition. This includes Xia Li, when she was transferred to Friday Night SmackDown show. Before that, she spent time with NXT and gained fame for her interesting character work. Looks like her texture made her sister cry.

Over the past few weeks, WWE has aired several trailers for Xia Li, helping fans get to know her before Li debuts. The vignettes feature comic book-style storytelling that fans are sure to love.

While speaking with ScreenRant, Xia talked about her details and said there was a real connection to her character’s story. Li added that when she showed her sister the textures, her sister started crying.

“I remember I showed my sister the patterned Ao Dai. She’s crying like I am and she knows where all the stories come from. She feels the same way as I do. So she told me she was very proud of me.

They called me many times. They worry about me. They know I’m here, alone. They are so proud of me that I was able to stay for so long. The whole family is just so proud and so happy for me. They’re very proud of what I’m doing right now and they’re excited too. My future, what is about to happen, I wish I could one day bring them here to live with me. Then they can come and watch the show and watch me play. I hope that they will come soon.”

Xia Li made her debut on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, where she received strong support from fans as her entrance left many impressed. We’ll have to wait and see how she will rank in the main roster.
