WWE video surfaces give instructions for seat fillers before the SmackDown show

Today, video surfaced online of someone on WWE staff giving instructions for seat fillers before a SmackDown show.
Fillers are fans who are given free tickets but they may be asked to get up and move to different sections throughout the show if there are empty seats visible in the camera view. This has been done by WWE for many years, but this is the first time a staff video tutorial has been shown.
Seating is also done at award ceremonies. At the Oscars, for example, when an actor needs to go on stage to receive an award or if someone leaves the scene, someone takes their place. In the case of WWE, they did so because they felt that showing empty seats on TV didn’t look good.
Fans in the video below were told that they could move once during a show or multiple times, but they would most likely move throughout the beginning and end of the show.
Some fans on social media have pointed out the irony of this video because, as noted yesterday by Bryan Alvarez According to the Wrestling Observer, there are people in the WWE who are in denial about AEW’s strong ticket sales and those who believe that Tony Khan bought AEW tickets to make it look like his shows would pull out of WWE.
Check out the video of the seats below.
