WWE makes big changes to superstar contracts, no more financial bonuses

It’s a brass ring. It is safe to say that things have been shaky in WWE over the past year and a half, and that is likely to continue for a long time to come. The company looks almost nothing like it did this time last year, and it’s scary to think about what things will look like next. Now, however, it looks like WWE has taken something else from the wrestlers.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has virtually run out of all the financial bonuses that wrestlers can earn. Instead, the wrestlers were largely limited to the amount of their contracts, with pay-per-view, live events, and merchandise bonuses being omitted. There are some top stars that can still earn more, but lower level wrestlers don’t have the bonus.
