WWE is said to pay Kevin Owens 2-3 million dollars per year to stay

As previously reported, Kevin Owens has re-signed with WWE. His contract is set to expire at the end of January.
Before the news broke, there was some speculation that Owens might have joined AEW, but several wrestlers in the rival company reported that although All Elite Wrestling would be interested in signing a contract with him, but the promotion would not realistically match the offer WWE made to Owens.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio today that the new deal is for three years and Owens is being paid between $2-3 million annually.
“He signed a three-year contract with WWE. I believe it was actually a couple of weeks before this happened. I’m sure there’ll be more on it tomorrow, but it’s a very good money-making deal. I think it feels like a better deal than what he can get in AEW. It is in the range of 2-3 million per year. ”
Meltzer added that Owens included a no-cut clause in the deal so the company couldn’t release him before the deal ended.
This money puts him in the number list of highest paid people in company. Top wrestlers like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are making over $5 million a year.
