WWE has big plans for Omos and AJ Styles, plot is rushing ahead of WrestleMania season

If you were wondering why WWE rushed to make the first match between AJ Styles vs. Omos next week, that’s because the company has bigger plans for both of them.
WresleVotes reported today that WWE wants any kind of blow-off show done before the WrestleMania season (the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania shows).
This week, on Monday night Raw, Omos unveiled Styles, and it was presented as if Omos would become the face of the brand. On the show, he was compared to Andre the Giant.
Vince McMahon has had big plans for Omos since he signed with WWE because he is protected from overdoing it and from being made to look weak. There were plans for him to step down as a single star in the WWE Draft but those plans were delayed because of the feeling at the time that Omos wasn’t quite ready yet.
Expect to see Omos get a lot of attention at the Royal Rumble. There are currently no additional details on WrestleMania’s plans for Omos and Styles.
If it feels like they sped up Omos & AJ Styles crashing, that’s because they did. The source said both superstars have big plans in place for early 2022 and want any kind of show done before Rumble & Mania’s big events.
