WWE 2K22: Rey Mysterio 2K Showcase – How to complete all tasks

WWE 2K22 is here and with it the new 2K Showcase. The featured wrestler in this year’s showcase is Rey Mysterio, who is also the cover athlete of WWE 2K22. WWE fans can relive 12 classic matches from Rey’s historic career, spanning a period beginning in 1997 with a WCW Cruiserweight Championship match against Eddie Guerrero.

Each game has a set of objectives to complete and we’ve listed those below. Here’s a look at each, plus tips for those goals to apply during the 2K Showcase.

Halloween Devastation 1997

• Perform an easy combo in the ring – This can be done by tapping a series of keystrokes (e.g. X+X+X+A) in a row
• Light grab attack – Press B/Circle in front of Eddie and then press X/Square
• Do a front running grapple – Press B/Circle while running (LT/L2) at Eddie
• Deal great damage to Eddie – Do this through continuous hitting, as well as signatures and finishers
• Perform a Light Corner Grapple on Eddie – While Eddie is dazed in the corner, press B/Circle followed by X/Square
• Do the backflip DDT – While Eddie is dazed and hanging from the ropes, press B/Circle to grab him, then hold LB/L1 and LS/L3. Get him on the ropes by grabbing him with B/Circle followed by LB/L1.
• Send Eddie on the ropes with Irish Whip – B/circle + left stick (any direction)
• Deal more damage to Eddie
• Launch a jump attack on Eddie while he’s in the ring – Press A/X or X/Square on the top turnbuckle
• Use a grab combo on Eddie – Combination ending with B/Circle (ie X+A+A+B)

• Perform 2 grab combos with Eddie – Combination ending with B/Circle (ie X+A+A+B)
• Perform a light running attack – Press LT/L2 followed by A/X
• Irish whip Eddie in ropes – B/circle + left stick (any direction)
• Deal great damage to Eddie
• Light grab attack – A/X
• Perform a dash attack – LS towards ropes + LT to run + X
• Light front attack – A/X in front of standing opponent
• Deal more damage to Eddie
• Dive attack from the top rope while Eddie is grounded in the ring – Use A/X on the upper turnbuckle

• Light grab attack – Press B/Circle to grab Shawn, then LS + X or Left Stick + Square

• Springboard attack from the apron while Shawn is in the ring – While standing on the apron in the ring with HBK, hold LB + B/Circle
• Try a pin
• Do an easy combo
• Irish whip Shawn in ropes
• Front running attack on Shawn while HBK is dazed in the corner – While Shawn is in the corner, press LT/L2 + A/X or X/Square
• Perform 2 grab combos – Combination ending with B/Circle (ie X+A+A+B)
• Perform 2 heavy combos – Combo ending in A/X (i.e. X+A+A+A)

• Do the 619 – Rey’s signature move. Get enough damage, then RT/R2 + X/Square

• Heavy attack from behind – While standing near Dolph while he is facing away from you (meaning you are behind him), press A/X to perform a heavy attack from behind. Can reposition Dolph with the right stick.

Cyber ​​Sunday 2008 vs. Kane
