World of Tanks reveals upcoming jet tanks and a Terminator 2 battle pass

It’s time for the first random cross-promotional content of 2023 thanks world of tanks! The online tank fighter will be making bedfellows with the classic action movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day in his upcoming Special Battle Pass, available January 12-26. And I’m sure you already hear the theme of the film in your head. Don’t worry, me too.

A variety of film-themed goodies await you in the pass, including characters from the film reimagined as tank commanders, 2-D styles, inscriptions, decals, and a special Tier VIII T-832 tank, although the last item included in pass is premium pass. Speaking of buying stuff, the Cash Shop will feature Sarah Connor and the T-1000 as the tank commander.

Regarding normal old playable content, WOT also introduces a new branch of Chinese heavy tanks in its upcoming patch. The ones with jet engines. Deriving from 1950s concepts that never took off from the ground, these new vehicles offer a 10-second burst of speed, although turning will be difficult and reversing impossible because that’s how jets work.

The new patch is currently up for preload, a month-long series of missions and tech tree discounts are underway, and a trailer for the new Battle Pass awaits below.
