Christine Faulds used an inversion table at the 24-hour Powerhouse Gym in Berea, Ohio.

The exercise machine was designed to stretch your back, but Faulds got more than she bargained for when she was stuck upside down.

“I’m stuck on this reverse decompression thing,” Faulds says in a TikTok video of the incident.

“I think the thing went too far and I’m just stuck upside down. I can’t sit up properly.”

The only other person who was at the gym with her at 3am was in another room lifting weights and couldn’t hear her calling for help.

“There was just so much pressure on my head,” Faulds said.

She kept trying to free herself, but squirming didn’t help either.

Finally, after Faulds hung there for about five minutes, she used her smartwatch to call 911.

“This is so embarrassing,” she said in the video.

“Oh, dear God, my knuckles are on fire.”

An officer arrived at the gym just minutes later and flipped the inversion table and Faulds right side up.

“Easiest save ever,” Faulds joked in the video.

The whole ordeal lasted about 12 minutes.

Faulds had a headache and felt a little blurry afterwards, but she was able to take the incident in stride and go ahead with her initial plan of posting the video on TikTok.

“People say, ‘Why are you posting this? It’s just so embarrassing,” she said.

“But I’m like… ‘Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself and move on.'”

Faulds says if she uses the inversion table again, she’ll make sure she has a pal with her.
