Will Tower of Fantasy come to PlayStation, Switch or Xbox consoles? answered

After the success in China, the sci-fi anime mobile game Tower of Fantasy was released worldwide by Hotta Studio. It’s an open world game with mech suits and energy weapons, plagued by secret organizations and deviant monsters, set on a far future Earth. Tower of Fantasy is primarily a game for mobile devices, a PC version is available and a Steam release is also planned. However, many console gamers worldwide are wondering if they can play the exciting new game on their favorite consoles. We have some answers for these players in our guide.

When is Tower of Fantasy coming to consoles?

Even when the game was announced for a worldwide release, we knew that the obvious mobile release would be followed by some sort of PC release. It made perfect sense since the game’s main inspiration – Genshin Impact – did the same, so it followed that Tower of Fantasy would follow in their footsteps. But the release on consoles was also discussed from time to time, but nothing concrete was said about it at first.

However, that changed as we got closer to release. And unfortunately for our console brethren, the new game Tower of Fantasy doesn’t seem to have a console release planned. As far as the developers at Hotta Studio have announced, Tower of Fantasy isn’t coming to Playstation, Xbox, or Switch… yet. They left the explanation a bit open so the door might not be closed on a possible future release. So there is still hope that this might change at some point post-launch, but for now the focus seems to be on keeping the game stable on the original platforms.
