Will the Green Bay Packers win the Super Bowl?

If you look at the Super Bowl odds then you’ll see that the Packers lead the chase as the favorites lift the Vince Lombardi trophy on Feb.order.

Anyway, the odds in favor of the Packers and them actually going all the way are two very different things. Their first challenge will be on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys in the wildcard game, with a very lucky ending to say the least.

They may be lucky that they’ve come through so they don’t pose much of a threat, especially if they continue to make mistakes that will cost them against higher quality teams.

However, will the Green Bay Packers go all the way and win the Super Bowl? Will Aaron Rodgers challenge the critics who have mocked him for his controversial comments and prove that on the pitch he remains one of the greats?

Let’s see how it plays out.

The next game will be very easy

Regardless of the season the Packers have had so far or what the odds say, one thing is for sure; The Packers will have to get past the San Francisco 49ers to advance further next season. You can feel at ease with the Packers fans as we believe your team will be too strong for what the 49ers can offer.

The 49ers just set a 10-7 record in the NFC West, and on that record, they lost to the Packers in September when Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams delivered. Obviously it stuck with them; Kyle Shanahan had their second midfield pick, Trey Lance, mimicking Rodgers on the training pitch.

That’s not all. The fact that Lance is “playing Rodgers” on the training ground tells us that Jimmy Garoppolo will be the starting QB. He had a good season for San Fran but he’s not completely healthy due to shoulder injury; no doubt that makes the 49ers weaker. Even with Garoppolo available you will support the Packers but the 49ers with their main man at 90% have no chance.

Injury relief

Depending on how you look at it, you could say the Packers’ Super Bowl victory is shaping up to be fate. We’ve covered the fact that they’ll be up against 49 people with semi-fit Garoppolo and, in their own camp, even better news. They are expected to soon welcome the likes of David Bakhtiari, Josh Myers, Za’Darius Smith and Jare Alexander back. Some will even return to the fold for the 49ers confrontation.

Of course, there is a flip side to that. Anyone associated with the Packers will point out that they missed those big names throughout the season; imagine how good things could have been!

Another factor that Matt LaFleur will quickly reference is that while the quartet listed are close to being profitable, they won’t be at 100% right away; they probably won’t until next season now. Regardless, however you cut it, a return to fitness for any player is a positive motivator and boosts the morale of the entire team.

The impact of Aaron Rodgers

That’s right, you simply can’t talk about whether the Packers won the Super Bowl without dedicating a few inches of pole to their star man, Rodgers.

Rodgers, who guided the Packers to their last Super Bowl 11 years ago, has long been praised in the NFL. This regular season, the star quarterback has thrown 4,115 yards and has a 68.9% conversion rate; that was the third best of any player who threw more than a few yards.

Joe Burrow and Kyler Murray narrowly showed him on the percent completion front but didn’t reach the same heights in touchdowns.

We know Rodgers has the talent to deliver but, with his team being a favorite now, he’ll need to deal with the pressures of being a big dog. We doubt he will do it though.

With all that in mind, we are fully confident that this is the year of Green Bay. You heard it here first, the Packers were named Super Bowl champions.

Thought they had to walk gently. There are several strong contenders for the crown, notably Brady’s Buccaneers. If the Buccs beat the Rams, they’ll face the Packers in a controversial conference final, vying for a spot in the Super Bowl.

This is probably Brady’s last attempt for a final chapter in Super Bowl history (or we thought last time), so don’t rest your eyes on the current NFL champions. On the other side, keep an eye out for the Tennessee giants, who have had a spectacular regular season and are favorites for a Super Bowl spot at the moment.

We’ll have to wait and see but this NFL season will be a delight for all fans.
