Green Bay traded Adams for the Raiders after the recipient indicated he didn’t want to play for the team anymore, even refuse the equivalent amount to stay.
Will the situation with Adams change the equation for Rodgers, who recently agreed to a monster new deal with the Packers?

The short answer is no. Trading in Green Bay Adams should not be the driving force behind Rodgers’ retirement because he seemed to know it was going to happen.
If the report is true, Rodgers will not let his guard down by the news. He agreed to his contract and knew full well that Adams would not be his recipient in Green Bay in 2022.
That doesn’t mean he still can’t decide to retire for some other reason. He doesn’t exactly need a good person to perform that deed.
It’s just not likely that this will be it.
