Who would lead the chieftains without Clyde Edwards-Helaire?

The Kansas City captain dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16, but they lost a key player in the process, as Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered a collarbone injury.

If Edwards-Helaire breaks his collarbone, he will almost certainly be sidelined for the whole season, which makes Derrick Gore and Darrel Williams the main beneficiaries in the Chiefs’ backyard.
Kansas City enters this week as co-favorite to win the Super Bowl at WynnBET at +450 odds, so finding a run back to fill Edwards-Helaire’s shoes will be key to the Captain making a deep playoff.
When Edwards-Helaire was out at the start of this season, Williams takes on the main role for the Chiefs, started five games and ran for 244, two touchdowns and caught 24 passes at 226 yards and another score.
Even so, Gore played a key role in the game against the Steelers, making 12 tackles for 43 yards and catching three passes for 61 yards.
Williams finished with 11 takes in 55 yards in the game, and while he may be a safer choice to target, Gore could be a Sneaky bet as any time touchdown scorer in Week 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This backyard is definitely an important point to watch in the future as the Team Leaders try to lock down the No. 1 seed at the AFC.
