Who will win the Guardian Games 2022 in Destiny 2?

The Guardian Games have returned to Destiny 2 for 2022. If you’re looking to compete for your Guardian class, make sure you know who’s at the top before the big announcement. In this article we will follow who will win the Guardian Games 2022 in Destiny 2.

Who will win the Guardian Games?

The first day of the second week of the Guardian Games 2022 has come to an end. Today it looks like the Warlocks are in the lead after their win yesterday. The Hunters are hot on their heels and have only won one day of competitions, much like the Titans. However, there is still plenty of time for both teams to push forward.

medallion scoring

This year, you’ll earn medallions to earn points for your respective team. If you’re ready to deposit your medals before the end of the day, be sure to take them to the podium in the tower. For every medal you deposit for your team on the podium, your team will get more points. You can earn medallions through Apprentice cards and Platinum cards, with Apprentice cards providing Gold medals and Platinum cards awarding your Platinum medals.

There are two types of medallions that you can earn during the event. They have low tier medallions and high tier medallions. To earn low tier medals, you should complete Gambit, Vanguard Strikes, Quickplay Crucible matches, and Throne World activities. You must complete higher tier content for higher tier medallions such as raids, dungeons, competitive PvP events, and seasonal activities such as PsiOps Battlegrounds on higher difficulties.

Here are the points for each medallion type you get for each one in Destiny 2.

  • Bronze: 1 point
  • Silver: 2 points
  • Gold: 5 points
  • Platinum: 15 points

A new factor coming to Guardian Games 2022 is strike scoring. Depending on the day, you need to play specific training or competition playlists. There is a training playlist on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and competition playlists on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Make sure you plan your playtime with your Fireteam accordingly to get the most medals for your Guardian team.
