Who will have the better game?

The game I’m most looking forward to this weekend is the Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. I love watching both teams, both midfielders and I think the Bills are in a good position for a nasty AFC. Another reason I enjoy watching these two teams is the starting receiver each team deploys. Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs are two of the most exciting players in the NFL and will go head to head this weekend.

While we mentioned this game many times has since many angles, I have one more before I start. I wanted to look at Hill and Diggs’ player props and make a guess as to who walked more yards at prime time. All odds favors are provided by WynnBET Sportsbook.

Taking OVER feels great supporting a player as good as Hill. On the other hand, players who are fading at his caliber are always a bit heartbreaking. I bring this up because it’s one of those rare occasions where I plan to beat Hill in a big game. While it does give me a lot of fun, the Bill of Exchange protection is too good to be of interest to anyone betting on Chiefs offense in the prop market. This is not to say that I expect the whole team to fail, but I do expect some surprisingly average performances. I think Hill falls into that category on Sunday night.

First, Hill was pretty quiet during last week’s win over the Steelers with five catches and 57 yards. He scored a TD but that has nothing to do with this yardage assist in my opinion.

Talented as he is, if Hill is not touched then he has nothing to work with. Hill has seen his usage fade away in the second half of the season and that worries me. He has not exceeded this total in his last four games and has scored five or fewer goals in five of his last seven.

Considering how good the Bills’ defense is, especially against the pass, I struggled to find the confidence to trust Hill to make it past the 70 yards on Sunday night.

Diggs was not suspiciously involved in the Bills’ 47-17 win over the Patriots in the Wild Card round. He saw only four targets and followed three for 60 yards. While that number comes in at a very good performance of 20 yards per catch, I’d love to see more balls thrown his way last weekend. A big reason for Diggs’ quiet night against NE was winger JC Jackson, who effectively obscured WR.

However, the captain got through a much worse defense than the Patriots were blown up by this offense last weekend. The captain ranked 23rd in yards per pass and 26th in total yards passed per game with 248.6. The Chiefs love playing live coverage but don’t have the talent to shut down Diggs like Jackson did. He had 77 yards in last season’s AFC Championship loss and I’m sure he’ll come out to avenge that defeat.
