Who mugged Joel and Ellie in the fourth episode of HBO’s The Last of Us? answered

At HBO The last of us, Joel and Ellie head to Wyoming to try to find Joel’s brother Tommy and deliver Ellie to the fireflies. On the way, however, they are attacked in Kansas City and have to leave their truck and many supplies behind. While some of the same events are carried over from the game, there are also some differences in this fourth episode of the first season. Here’s everything you need to know about who attacked them.

Who ambushed Joel and Ellie’s truck The last of us?

While the city they are in when they are mugged is different (the game takes place in Pittsburgh while the show takes place in Kansas City), the events that happen to their truck are largely the same. In the game, they are attacked by attackers and Joel must save Ellie from being strangled. In the show, it appears that a group of survivors who defeated FEDRA and the KC Quarantine Zone now control the area and ambush any outsiders who approach. This group is led by a new character named Kathleen who was not in the game. Her right hand, Perry, is also a new character but is played by the game voice of Tommy.

Who sneaked up on Joel and Ellie at the end of the fourth episode The last of us?

At the end of the episode, Joel and Ellie take refuge in a building and fall asleep. Joel is then awakened by Ellie with two people holding guns at them. This is Henry (the older brother) and Sam (the younger). At the beginning of the episode, you hear Kathleen interrogate her doctor as a prisoner for the whereabouts of the two, because Henry apparently gave FEDRA the whereabouts of her brother and captured and killed him.

Who are Henry and Sam? The last of us?

Henry and Sam are brothers who appear on the show to be on the run from the people of Kansas City. There are some differences to the game here. Sam is deaf on the show, while in the game he can hear perfectly well. Henry is very protective of his younger brother, knowing that they are all they have left. While episode four ends with a rather tense moment, Joel and Ellie will be joined by these two in-game for a brief time, and they’ll be working together here as well. There are a few more tense moments that we get to experience in new ways in the upcoming fifth installment.

In the game, the brothers were unrelated to the attackers attacking Joel and Ellie. They tried to find the fireflies with a group of survivors left in their quarantine zone by FEDRA. The attackers attacked their group and were expected to be the only ones left. Since their backstory has been altered for the show, we should learn more about how they got to where they are next week.
