Here’s an updated tally for the NCAA Women’s Tournament, with the Finals set.
Two places in the Final Four of the NCAA Women’s Tournament were taken on Monday night, with South Carolina and Stanford trailing. Two matches take place on Monday night for the final two berths.
Perhaps the most intense match of the night was between UConn Huskies No. 2 and No. 1 North Carolina State Wolfpack. It took two years, but it was the Huskies who got a foothold in the Final Four after a 91-87 victory. Number two keeper Paige Bueckers took the lead for UConn, as he scored 27 points (10 for 15 from the field), 15 of which came in extra time.
For another game of the night, Cardinals No. 1 Louisville beat No. 3 Michigan Wolverines 62-50, 22 points behind second-place keeper Hailey Van Lith.

The Final Four will take place on Friday, April 1, live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
Louisville will play the top seeds South Carolina Gamecocks, who defeated No. 10 Creighton Bluejays 80-50 in their Elite Eight match. Louisville vs. South Carolina will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
UConn is set to take on Cardinal No. 1 Stanford, who knocked out No. 2 Texas Longhorns with a 59-50 win. The Huskies and Cardinals will be the second game on April 1; it will happen at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The National Championship game will be played on Sunday, April 3 in Minneapolis.
