Miller recalls her experiences of being bullied as a child, both physically and mentally. In the end, she had a lot of anger building up that made her the perfect person for MMA. Miller has mentioned many times that she wants to help stop bullying and teach victims how to identify themselves.
Another crazy part of the interview was how she officially started training. Miller told a story of how she was assaulted and passed out to the point of suffocation. As she recovered, Miller said she decided that no one would ever do something like that to her again. Since then, Miller has devoted his life to combat sports.
When Miller regains her confidence, she wants to teach a self-defense course. Her coach told her she could teach the course on one condition; Miller must win three amateur MMA fights. Miller won all three amateur fights, including two by first submission. The rest is history.
Ultimate Fighter returns May 3 and can be watched on ESPN+ every Tuesday.
