Which team made it to the Elite Eight of the 2022 NCAA Tournament? March Madness transformed the participants into the best of the best.

When it came to the second weekend of March Madness, the NCAA Tournament was down to just eight teams.

Sweet Sixteen knocked out No. 1 seeds like Gonzaga and Arizona. It elevated 15 Saint Peter’s to historic status. And it will make Coach K retire for at least another day.

So which team made it through to play in the Elite Eight?

  • No. 2 Villanova vs No. 5 Houston
  • No. 2 Duke vs No. 4 Arkansas
  • #15 Saint Peter’s vs #8 North Carolina
  • No. 1 Kansas vs No. 10 Miami

Thursday’s action began with Arkansas knocking out Gonzaga to set the tone for Sweet 16. Not long after, Houston beat Arizona.

Bead #2 is a little more hearty. Villanova stopped No. 11 Michigan on their track while No. 2 Duke survived a challenge from No. 3 Texas Tech.

The drama continues on Friday as Saint Peter’s No. 3 Purdue shocks as the first No. 15 seed in history to make it to the Elite Eight.

Kansas avoided the trouble their #1 seeds had when they overcame Providence #4.

As the evening progressed, UCLA and North Carolina played a horror movie while Miami and Iowa State stripped the rights to play again this weekend. Tar Heels and Hurricanes continued the ACC’s great run in the league by winning.
