How to get withered Kapiba branches in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

The Withered Kapiba Twigs fall off the Kapiba, a sizable rodent-like creature you can find fairly early in the game. They first appear in the Fornis region around Chapter 2 and they won’t be high-level fighters. They will be relatively easy to defeat as long as you meet them at level 20.

These earlier spawns have a good chance of dropping common and rare materials, but it will take some farming to find some legendary versions of this item. They recommend using Skip Travel to Igno Viaduct and looking around that area and to the west. You’ll find the Igno Viaduct closer to the southwestern part of the Fornis region, near where it connects to the Pentelas region. Once you’ve defeated all of the Kapiba in that area, consider skipping the journey to a nearby landmark and refreshing those spawns to try attacking them again.
