If you’re spending time with Edge of Eternity, you can start amassing weapon recipes using materials you’ve never come across. Strongtwist is one of the ingredients you’ll need to craft Daryon and Selene’s second tier of weapons. Our guide will help you learn how to get started.
While acquiring these weapon recipes in the second chapter, you won’t have access to the strongtwist until entering the third chapter of the game. At some point in the third chapter of Edge of Eternity, you’ll get a prompt stating that you won’t be able to return to previous areas for a while. If you see this warning, you are on your way.
After making it through a large portion of the story in this linear part of the game, you’ll end up on the Kaladaan Coast. The main quest marker pushes you through this part of the map, but there’s a village tucked away by the coast called Wurldzend.
Head through this community to the pier, where there are a number of merchants and plenty of craft benches. Once at the pier, turn left and approach the NPC with the coin and parchment bag icon as shown below.
This merchant sells all kinds of recipes, some of which are elusive recipes. If you want to use it immediately, you can craft it on the bench with the potion and wrench icon in the same area. A Strongtwist requires a mineroll, a charioteer’s friend, and a breathing ivy. The charioteer’s friend and breathing ivy can be purchased from merchants in the vicinity with a crafting bench-like icon. Minerolls can be crafted using common materials which you should have plenty of at this point as long as you have mined the field resources.
