Where to find Chaos Bolts in Genshin Impact?

In truth, there are two different ways to get your hands on Chaos Bolts in Genshin Impact. Of course, the easiest way to farm them is by killing mobs that drop them. The other method is crafting with lower tier materials.

Chaos Bolts as loot drops

Chaos Bolts will only drop loot from two elite enemies if possible. They both belong to the Ruin Drake type. Also, they will only drop from these enemies when they are level 60+. These ruin dragons are:

• Ruin Drake: Earthguard
• Ruin Drake: Skywatch

Craft Chaos Bolts

However, if you only need a few Chaos Bolts and you still have some Chaos Modules in your inventory, you can craft some Chaos Bolts yourself. For this recipe you need 3x Chaos Modules and pay a fee of 50 Mora, which gives you 1 Chaos Bolt in return.

What are Chaos Bolts used for in Genshin Impact?
