Where to find the Poison Mushroom in the Elden Ring – and what it does

Poison Mushrooms are hard to find for those just starting out in Elden Ring, and while it may not be worth the effort, there is a poison weapon you can use with this material. This is the place to find it.

As you explore the lands within the Elden Ring, you’ll eventually come across the quasi post-apocalyptic region of Caelid. This is the main area where you can find poisonous mushrooms. Everything was corroded and most of the land was contaminated. It is also filled with huge enemies that will probably kill you in a few hits, so be careful.

You can find Caelid to the east of Summonwater Village and northeast of Marika’s Third Church. It is also located northeast of the Minor Erdtree next to the Well of Siofra.

Once you’ve landed in this spooky part of the open world, try to find bushes throughout the landscape for the Poison Mushroom. They can also be near trees. Instead of the usual golden shade mushroom in the center of Limgrave, look instead for the dimmer red of the yellow light.
