Where to find the Morbane Scrolls in Vampire Survivors?

The Morbane Scrolls (also known as the Forbidden Morbane Scrolls) reveal all of the game’s secrets via the secret menu. It will tell you how to get every secret in the game and point out secrets you haven’t found yet.

The item is not easy to find and it takes some experimentation to find it again. If you’re not sure where to find the scrolls, here’s the location and strategy you’ll need to add them to your inventory.

Find the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane

To find the Forbidden Scrolls you need to go to the Bone Zone. It will be helpful to have the Milky Way map to point out the location of the scrolls. If you open up the map and take a look, you’ll see that there’s a huge “?” south of your starting position.

If you go to the question mark and look at the map again, you may see that you are getting further away from the question mark or that it is getting closer to you. The object denoted by the question mark is actually changing position and may move away from you if you’re not careful.

As you get closer, you’ll see a giant ball of skeletons rolling around. This is the skull pile located inside like the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. Destroying the pile of skulls gives you access to the scrolls and doesn’t require you to repeat the battle again.

How to destroy the skull pile

The Skull Pile is a difficult object to destroy because it moves fast (faster than your default movement speed). It can also grow larger when encountering other skeletons, making it difficult to destroy. If the skull pile gets too big, you might spend a lot of time destroying the skull pile (or you might not be able to finish in the time limit!).

To destroy the Pile of Skulls, it’s best not to start the map in Hyper mode. This will slow you down, but will also slow down the Skull Pile itself, allowing you to catch up with it. You should also think about choosing characters like Leda or the Red Death. Despite being secret characters themselves, they have the best chance of destroying the Skull Pile.

Leda’s Holy Wand will constantly haunt the pile of skulls as long as it stands by it. The Red Death can fend off other enemies with its Death Spiral, preventing the Pile of Skulls from growing.

When activating Arcanas, you might want to go for the Game Killer Arcana, which stops XP gain and turns XP gems into explosives.

The strategy is to head straight for the pile of skulls the moment the map starts. Track his position and deal damage to him quickly. You want to either overpower the skull pile (faster than the skeletons can regenerate it) or damage it while pushing the other skeletons back. If you can use either strategy, the Skull Pile will shatter and the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane will be yours.
