Where to find the mausoleum soldier’s ashes in Elden Ring?

Explore the Wandering Mausoleums and you’re sure to see mausoleum soldiers walking around. They guard the Wandering Mausoleum from invaders like you trying to get in. On your journey through the Lands Between you will find a summoning that allows you to have your own mausoleum soldiers to help you in battle. Here’s where to find Soldier’s Ashes from the Mausoleum in Elden Ring.

In order to get this spirit ash, you must first make your way to Deeproot Depths. This is an area you can find after progressing quite a bit in the game. There are two ways you can get here. First, after the Valiant Gargoyle boss fight, you can ride the coffin up the waterfall. In the boss arena, interact with the coffin to receive a cutscene where it will lead you into the depths of the deep. Second, you can go down into the Leyndell Sewers, Capital City. From there, head to Mohg’s boss room, The Omen. After the boss fight, go through the hidden door in the altar and fall down the huge hole. Hit the illusory wall below. This will open the door to Deeproot Depths.

Once in Deeproot Depths, head northwest to find the Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace. From the Site of Grace, head northeast until you find the Walking Mausoleum. Continue past the mausoleum to the cliff at the extreme north. At the edge of the cliff rest the soldiers’ ashes of the mausoleum. Just watch out for the soldiers firing big arrows along the way.
