Axew is a cute but strong Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It looks like a little rabbit with overgrown teeth, but that gives it a cute look instead of scary. This Pokemon can be tricky to get, but it’s not that difficult, making it worth getting your hands on Axew. How to find and catch Axew in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to catch Axew in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To catch an Axew, you must first find their habitats. There are two locations where you can find the Pokemon and both are far from each other. One is to the northeast and the other to the southeast. You can get to both locations easily, but the northeast one is slightly higher, meaning you’ll find higher-tier Axews there.

Depending on how advanced you are in the game, you can go to either location. Once you’re there, head from the Pokémon Centers to the grassy areas and start searching for Axew. Most of the time you’ll easily spot a roaming Axew, but sometimes you won’t, so in that case keep looking or go to a different location.

Once you’ve spotted the Pokemon, get close to it or throw a Pokeball to start the fight. When the battle starts, you can try throwing a Pokeball to catch it directly, but it’s better to deal some damage beforehand for better chances. Also, Axew is weak against Ice, Dragon, and Fairy Pokemon, so make sure to use those in battle. When you’ve dealt enough, throw a Pokeball and you can easily catch it.
