Where to find Ash of War: Barbaric Roar in the Elden Ring?

This isn’t the first time Barbaric Roar has appeared in a Soulsbourne game. In Dark Souls 3, many of the axes and hammers were decorated with Roaring weapon art. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not great. This weapon art increases your attack power for a short time after you use it. Also, strong attacks become combo attacks while the buff is active. This is where you can find Ash of War: Barbaric Roar in Elden Ring.

To get this Ashes of War, you must first go to the Liurnia region. This is the region above Limgrave behind Stormveil Castle. To reach this area you must go through Stormveil Castle and defeat both Margit and Godrick. If that’s too difficult for you, you can also take the side route by going to the cliff east of Castle Stormveil near the broken bridge. Both trails will take you to the Lake-Facing Cliff Site of Grace.

From the Site of Grace, head north down the hill to the lake portion of the area. The path to weapon art is quite long, so make sure you come prepared. Head northeast across the lake past the Academy. You will find a gorge where the lake flows into. Follow the water into the canyon. This will lead you to a dead end with a series of scaffolding that you must climb to enter a dungeon. Do not climb the scaffolding. Instead, continue to where the rocks meet at the end of the canyon to find a bug. Destroy the bug to get the Ashes of War. Be careful there are lots of bats that will come out if you go after the bug.
