Where to Find and Plant Reality Seeds in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Thanks to the new biome in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, players can now discover an incredibly fertile item known as the Reality Seed. This unique piece of loot essentially allows players to farm gear in specific areas of the map and even return there in later games for more. Therefore, Reality Seeds are the perfect solution when it comes to finding valuable weapons or health supplies. Here’s how to plant them and what to expect in return.

Where to find and plant in Fortnite Reality Seeds

Reality Seeds can only be found around the Reality Tree, which is in the center of Reality Falls, a new POI just north of Greasy Grove. As shown above, you’ll need to pry open one of the round, purple plants surrounding the reality tree so three of the seeds will shoot out. After equipping a seed from your inventory, throw it on the ground to have the seed quickly grow into a reality seedling.

How to use Reality Seeds and Reality Seedlings in Fortnite

You should first notice that the Reality Saplings spawn in three mushrooms, which can be consumed for 10 additional shields each. As if that wasn’t good enough, the plant grows berries that can be destroyed for numerous weapons, gold bars, potions, and even more seeds. Keep in mind that the rarity of the weapons and supplies you get depends on the seed you planted. So if you’ve planted a Legendary Reality Seed, expect its sapling to bestow you with a Legendary Weapon in return.

It should also be noted that only one reality seedling can be planted at a time, as planting another will make your current seedling disappear. Plus, since the planted sapling stays in the same place after each match, you can return there at any time to collect its rewards. The type of gear it borrows comes randomly, but there’s a chance you’ll earn one of the season’s new weapons, like the powerful two-shot shotgun.
