Where to find all large chests in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

In Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, large chests can be found in all boroughs of Victorian London. There are 26 of them and these contain blueprints and unique crafting materials such as poisons, cloaks, sticks and weapons. Extremely useful in combat, exploration, and overall gameplay, they are a must have. These can be a little hard to find, though, and with that in mind, here’s a comprehensive guide on how to find all of those big chests.

City of London

There are five large chests in this district.

location 1

This large chest is located on the roof of the Royal Stock Exchange on the southeast side.

Loot: Golden Lion Cane Sword

To find this chest you need to go into the Bank of England via the south entrance and then through the door on the east side. The door leads to a circular room. Once there, turn left and go through the door to get into a larger room. There is a large chest behind a screen.

This large chest is located on the top platform of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

This chest can be found in St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. You need to go to the hospital and search the north-west roof. The chest is between the chimneys.

This chest is on the south side of Cannon Street Station, where there is a bridge. The chest is on the sidewalk in front of a bench.

Prey: Jaw Knocker

Lambeth

There are three large chests in this district.

location 1

The chest is in the clock tower of Lambeth Asylum. There is a roof leading to the tower. Then you have to go down one level where you will find the chest.

Loot: Unique Material – Tanjore Poison

The chest is in the southern part of a church, west of Lambeth Asylum, on a roof at the back.

Loot: Light and Dark Cloak

This large chest is to the right of the door leading into the north building of Lambeth Palace. It is difficult to see as it is obscured by a niche.

Southwark

There are four large chests in this district.

location 1

The chest is in the office on the top floor of the Attaway Transport factory building, a warehouse in the area.

Booty: Eagle Dive Cape

This chest can be found in a factory in the easternmost part of Southwark. A child rescue mission will also be available in this factory. You have to enter it through the skylight where you will see the chest.

Prey: Darbe’s Bear Claw

This is located on the first floor of the station in the area.

Loot: Lord Pearson’s stick

This chest is located in a foundry where fistfights take place. It is in the upper part, in an office.

Loot: Unique Material – Rhodium

The beach

There are four large chests in this district.

location 1

This chest is in a small house in the middle section of the beach, east of the train station there. It’s also guarded by a couple of Templar thugs.

This chest is in Charing Cross Station, near the entrance. You will see it there next to a pillar.

This chest is located under the National Gallery. There is a fence containing a hideout in the east of the gallery courtyard. If you follow this path you will get to the sewers: turn left and you will find the large chest.

You can find this chest in the Fight Club in the area. Enter it and you will find the chest behind the stairs inside the building.

There is only one chest in this district.

location 1

This chest is in a docked ship where there is a Fight Club activity. It is on the side of the ship.

Westminster

There are five chests in this district.

location 1

This chest is in the tallest house in Devil’s Acre in the south part of Westminster. You must enter the house through a top floor window. There you will find the chest on the side.

Loot: Master Assassin’s Belt

This chest is at the top of Westminster Abbey. You need to use the rope launcher to get there quickly. On the north terrace you will find the chest.

Loot: Death Knuckles

This chest is in Buckingham Palace on the south-east side. You have to enter the palace through the southernmost window on the first floor and the chest will be present in the room.

Prey: Eagle splendor belt

This chest is also in Buckingham Palace on the south-east side. Enter the room through the second floor window of the round entrance to the building and you’ll find the chest right in front of you.

Loot: Unique Material – Lignum Vitae

This is also on the south-east side of Buckingham Palace. You’ll see a series of roadside lampposts in front of the area where this chest is located, which will help you know you’re in the right place. To get this chest, enter the palace through the first window and you will notice the chest on the right.

Weisskapelle

There are two chests in the district.

location 1

This chest is located on the roof of a brewery building. For convenience, this building is located south of the Overlook in Whitechapel.

Loot: Rough and Tumble Belt

location 2

This chest can be found on the ground floor of Spitalfields Market. You’ll find the chest next to some baskets of groceries behind a wall of crates.

WWI period

In the World War I period of the game, there are two chests in the playable area.

location 1

This chest is in the northeast corner of the map, on a pier guarded by several high-level Templar thugs.

Loot: Eagle Dive Belt

location 2

In the north-east part of the map there is a building inside the military compound where you will find the chest. Use your eagle vision to enter the building undetected. Then go to the ground floor where you will find many boxes. You’ll find the chest on the side as you enter the northeast room of the floor.
