Where to find a Nitro Drifter in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 introduced a bunch of new weapons and vehicles to the battle royale, but perhaps the most useful of them all is just the Nitro Drifter. This unique car allows its driver to quickly drift and dodge attacks, and whoever succeeds in doing so will get a quick boost in speed. Better still, the ride is also tied to a weekly challenge. So expect to earn XP soon after finding them. Here’s where to find Nitro Drifters in Fortnite.

How to get a Nitro Drifter in Fortnite

Nitro Drifters appear primarily in the Japanese-themed biome in the lower-right corner of the map, and differ from predominant cars with sporty multicolored paint jobs. You can then head to Mega City, Slappy Shores, or Steamy Springs to encounter multiple vehicles. However, as marked below, they even sit outside of the biome, resting at the gas stations of Hitches and Ditches, Fallow Fuel, and Slap N’ Go.

Once you gain enough speed with the Nitro Drifter, you can use the same button you use to switch weapons to drift, which should give you a small boost. However, we recommend destroying objects while drifting, as this is part of a weekly challenge that rewards you with a sweet bonus of 15,000 XP. The vehicle runs on a limited amount of gasoline, so it may be best to fill up at a gas station before taking it for a long spin.

Players will also likely encounter several of the Rogue Bikes in the Japanese biome, a type of vehicle that is arguably faster than the Nitro Booster. This ride also has some challenges of its own, as the first few weeks of the season will challenge players to use it to gain airtime and get the bike to Drift Ridge, Fallow Fuel, and the Neon Bay Bridge.
