On July 31, 2022, Asmongold shared a YouTube video via Tweet in which he discussed why he doesn’t stream and what’s going on in his personal life. In the video titled “Where I’ve Been”.

In the video, he claimed that the series of events taking place on the same day made him stressed. He explained,

“And so… you know, it was like… it’s… and you know… it was also one of those situations and I was just freaking stressed out, and there’s like a million other things that… they like are just personal things, that I had to set up, like tax stuff and investment stuff that I hadn’t done, and you know…”

The OTK co-founder hasn’t streamed for 17 days. Explaining that his father was not well and his car needed service, Zack said he realized his father would be fine and they are now under the same roof.

On the same day, during the OTK members’ meeting, Asmongold broke his teeth while eating with other members. To this Zack said:

“It was like one of those things where, it was like a reality check where I realized my life was completely out of control. Like my sink was clogged and there was only black water in half of it and I was just using the other side of the sink. There was rubbish everywhere in my room, I couldn’t do anything because there is rubbish everywhere.”

After 2 minutes into the video, the OTK co-founder found himself in a crisis in his private life and he wants to take control and put things back together:

“So I had this, I guess, what you would call a freaking midlife crisis, and I was so stressed out and so upset that I realized I had to like it and take control of my life because it was easy so is, it’s out of control by my standards. That is quite something!” he continued:

“I’m the kind of person who likes it, you know, it’s like something bad happens, like someone throws up on the bed, you sleep…just sleep around it, right? It’s not a big deal. That’s how I grew up, and for me, this shit was out of control…out of control.”

Additionally, Asmongold claimed that before he started streaming, he just wanted to get his life on track, and that’s exactly what he’s trying to do.

“I was so upset and so stressed that I realized I just had to stop what I’m doing and get my life back on track and I did that and that’s why I wasn’t live. ”

The video is 16 minutes long and in which he also tells that he starts streaming on his Twitch channel after an operation by a dentist.
