The Iron Treads is probably one of the first Paradox Pokémon you encounter when playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It will be one of the fierce titans that you will have to defeat on the path of legends alongside Arven. When you reach the end of the game, you’ll have a chance to encounter Iron Treads in the wild and add him to your party. Here’s what you need to know about where to find Iron Treads in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to catch Iron Treads in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Unlike the other Paradox Pokémon, Iron Treads does not appear in Area Zero. Knowing how to escape this area, this Pokémon appears freely in the Pladea region. However, it won’t be too difficult to track down. You should be able to find it in the original location where you found it when it was a titan, in the Asado Desert on the west side of Paldea.

When you reach the Asado Desert, head east as far as you can and stay in the center. Iron Treads should stand in a single position. Instead of trying to fight you, you need to interact with the Pokemon for the battle to begin. It’ll also be a lot weaker than the other Paradox Pokémon you can find in Area Zero, so you might want to use some of your lesser-used Pokémon to defeat it and add it to your growing Scarlet and Violet collection. This Pokémon only appears for Pokémon Violet players. Those who have Scarlet will need to trade with another Pokémon Violet player.
Iron Treads is a Steel and Ground-type Pokémon. It is weak to Fire, Water, Fighting, and Ground moves, but it is resistant to Normal, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Stone, Dragon, Steel, and Fairy moves. In addition, it is immune to all Poison-type attacks.
