On August 2nd, Electronic Arts released its earnings report for the first quarter. In it, EA also released updated windows for the release of some of its upcoming games in the coming year.

EA’s earnings report confirmed that the next Super Mega Baseball game will be released in the fourth quarter of 2023, so it should be released in the spring. The next Super Mega Baseball game appears to be the unknown sports title that was slated for Q4 back in May 2022 rather than the next skate game or a UFC game.

This is the first Super Mega Baseball game to be released since Electronic Arts bought the franchise. Back in May 2021, EA bought Metalhead Software, the developer of the Super Mega Baseball franchise. This brought the franchise straight into the world of EA.

The next Super Mega Baseball game will be the first to be released by Metalhead since 2020. Still, we don’t know much about the game, including features and console information. More information will most likely be released in the near future.
