When does the Elite Eight start?

It will all be about the Elite Eight in March Madness when No. 5 Houston takes on No. 2 Villanova in San Antonio on Saturday night.

So far, four tickets have been included in the Elite Eight during March Madness.

While eight other teams will play for four more spots on Friday, four finished on Thursday night. Number 4 Arkansas annoys No. 1 Gonzaga in San Francisco. No. 2 Villanova ended No. 11 Michigan’s Cinderella season in San Antonio. While No. 2 Duke took the lead at No. 3 Texas Tech in San Francisco, No. 5 Houston had no problem with No. 1 Arizona in San Antonio.

With four teams going on, here’s what the first wave of the Elite Eight will look like on Saturday night.

Crazy March 2022: When does Elite Eight kick off?

The Southern Regional Finals will be between the Houston Cougars No. 5 and Team No. 2 Villanova Wildcats. Tipoff from the AT&T Center in San Antonio will be at 6:09 p.m. ET, 5:09 p.m. CT. TBS will make the game. Houston is hoping to make it to the Finals after an unbelievable season. Villanova has been a fixture in the later stages of the league for many years under Jay Wright.

The West Division finals will be between the Arkansas Razorbacks #4 and Duke Blue Devils #2. Tipoff from the Chase Center in San Francisco will be at 8:49 p.m. ET, 5:49 p.m. ET. TBS will conduct the game right after the Southern Regional Finals. Arkansas is really coming to life under head coach Eric Musselman, while this is Mike Krzyzewski’s last tournament to lead Duke.

The East and Midwest regional finals will take place on Sunday to knock out the Elite Eight. The Eastern Division finals will feature 15 Saint Peter’s vs. 3 Purdue vs. #8 North Carolina vs. 4 UCLA winners. The Midwest region finals will pit the 4th place winner Providence vs 1st Kansas against the 11th Iowa vs 10th Miami winners.

Without a doubt, the best part of Elite Eight is the winner of each grid-slicing game.
