What we know about “Habitat” on the new Arenas map

While the battle royale side of Apex Legends celebrating the launch of Raiders Collection, data researchers have uncovered brand new information about a possible map for Arenas, the game’s 3v3 mode. The map, called ‘Habitat’, could launch anytime in the near future, although Respawn has yet to officially confirm anything. However, the leakers that have spilled beans on this new map have so far been reliable and Apex Legends fans have the freedom to get excited about this new Arenas map.

Top dataminer KralRindo first posted proof of the new Habitat map on Tuesday, revealing great concept art on Twitter. Meanwhile, another leaker, Shrutgal, found another loading screen of the map. This image shows three large eggs and with all the lush greenery growing in the area, players can expect something similar to Storm Point in battle royale mode where you can take down wild animals.

Not only that, KralRindo also detects the layout of the map. From a sneak peek, this Arenas map appears to have some high ground areas that players can climb to find another vantage point during matches. In this tropical setting, the map also contains water forms — large rivers as well as smaller bodies of water — that you can immerse yourself in. Habitat’s unique landscape elements could bring new impetus to the Arenas game mode in Apex Legends.
