Buried Memory is expected to ship with the traditional patch content. There will be job adjustments, a new dungeon, new main story content, and more chapters on the side story quests established in Patch 6.1: Newfound Adventure. For a change, the new relic weapon grind actually starts with the next chapter in the Hildibrand side story.

Raiders can also finally head into Pandemonium: Abyssos to battle four new bosses. For the first time, however, the Savage difficulty level for the raid will be available a week after the patch is released. Other raid content includes the Unreal Sephirot Trial.

Gathering jobs can also look forward to helping the Omicrons in Ultima Thule. In addition, Island Sanctuary will finally make its long-awaited debut. Variant Dungeons will also be available for casual play with 1-4 players with no role restrictions. Criterion Dungeons is a high difficulty version of this new content.

The content is rounded out with the addition of PvP changes and dungeon NPC allies, including Season 3 of Crystalline Conflict. Matchmaking will get some love to rank players better. For those who prefer to play solo, several Heavensward dungeons will have NPC allies to play with through the Duty Support system. The Thornmark Duty is being reworked to address difficulties.

Waiting for Patch 6.2: Buried Memory at the end of August

There are several prerequisites for launching some of the content in Buried Memory. Of course, players need to be caught up with the main story quests. In addition, players who want to tackle the new quests for Tataru’s Greater Task must first complete the “Shadow of Mhach” story quest line. To start a relic weapon, players must catch up on the Hildibrand story quests up to the current chapter of patch 6.1.
