Mclaren, as both drivers, enjoyed their best weekend yet at the 2022 Australian GP Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo secured points. Lando and Daniel secured P5 and P6, accumulating 18 points and propelling McLaren to fourth place in the F1 Constructors’ Championship.
Ricciardo returned to Albert Park for his home race Australian GP as a McLaren driver for the first time. Both drivers put in a solid performance, outperforming the struggling car, giving the team some much-needed momentum.

Daniel Ricciardo reviews Lando Norris’ Australian slang
in the video, Daniel Ricciardo conducts a quiz with a teammate Lando Norris. The driver asks the Brit what each of the written words is and asks Lando to describe it. These include ‘budgie smugglers, coldies, bush, thongs’ and other words Australians use in their daily lives for everyday objects or things about Australia.
Above all, Daniel asks Lando “What is your interpretation of The Bush?” Whereupon Lando Norris raises his eyebrow and begins to laugh inexplicably. Daniel explains to Lando that the Australian outback is on its way. He also explains the difference between a lollipop in Australia to what they are called in England.
Daniel referred to Lando as one ‘pommy’ meaning an Englishwoman and attacked the British. But Lando did well, getting 7 correct answers and only 3 wrong answers.
