The first type of Blight you might encounter in Fallout 76 is the disease version of it. This disease is not the most common in the Wasteland, but it is very easy to contract. The following enemies can trick you into infecting yourself with the Blight:

  • Scorchbeast
  • Grafton monster
  • mega sloth
  • Mirelurk Queen

For an enemy to infect you with the plague, they must be sick, so don’t worry about just catching it from any enemy on the list. Once infected, this disease reduces all of your special stats by one. That means you lose a point in Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. Luckily, this disease only affects your character for 30 minutes.
