With the MLB lockdown still in place, former Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig released a statement saying he believes this is an opportunity to address the “needs of Latino players.”
Once a star of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Yasiel Puig is currently not on the MLB roster. What happened to Puig and can he return in 2022? Looks like he wants to return to a list sooner rather than later.
In a statement shared on Twitter, Puig touched on some of the talking points surrounding the MLB lockdown, including the opportunity to address “the unique needs of Latino players.” He also discussed how he’s looking to “get back on the big stage”.
Throughout this shutdown and its resolution, Puig believes that both the union and the MLB will go one step further in “[asking] Player questions like [him]”Because of them” has too much to say. ”
According to Puig’s statement, he had difficulty fitting in and “had to learn [his] lesson the hard way. “He made it clear that he didn’t want other players “with similar backgrounds to go through the same hardships”.
“I hope the negotiations will consider this gap,” Puig’s statement read.
