What are kerosene in Tower of Fantasy?

The world of Tower of Fantasy has some rather strange plant life that you can discover as you progress through the story. From plants with vines to thorns twining around the chest, you’ll see some strange sights in the world of Aida. Among the plants there is a herb called Kerosenia. This plant is one of the many that you can interact with in the world and you will receive a reward if you interact with it correctly.

Where to find kerosene

Kerosene Herbs can be found throughout Aida. You will first encounter them in the Astra region. They tend to blend in with their surroundings, which are usually grassy hills and cliffs. Luckily, they’re marked as POIs on the map to make them easier to find.

These plants have green leaves surrounding a red center filled with an oil-like substance. The game will tell you that these plants are rooted in underground oil veins.

How to interact with Kerosenia

Kerosenia plants have two clues showing how you should interact with them to get the prize that is inside them. First, they are covered with an oily substance. Secondly, the name of the plant sounds quite similar to kerosene. These plants also often have flame cores around them.

To burn the oily substance in the center of the plant, grab one of the nearby Flame Cores. This can be done by pressing the F key next to it on PC. Throw a Flame Core at the plant and it will burn the substance, leaving behind a Black Core for you to pick up. When you interact with the plant for the first time, you also get exploration points.
