“What a match” – the WWE Universe went absolutely ecstatic after Bianca Belair defended her Raw Women’s Championship in an amazing match against Becky Lynch

Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has been on a hot run since winning that title at Wrestlemania earlier this year. She defeated the longest-reigning champion in the history of the title after pacing in front of a massive crowd at AT&T Stadium throughout the competition, eventually defeating the ever-resilient Becky Lynch. Over the next few months, Belair made successful title defenses against Asuka and Lynch at Hell in a Cell and Carmella, respectively, at Money in the Bank premium live events.

A few weeks ago, Becky started bragging about how much she deserves to be the Raw Women’s Champion again, prompting a title fight for Summerslam, which finally became official after weeks of tinkering. Last week on Monday Night Raw, which apparently served as the red brand’s go-home show for Summerslam, both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair were involved in a massive brawl and it took a bunch of WWE officials to shut them down separate.

Both superstars made their grand entrance tonight en route to the ring at Summerslam. The match started at a remarkable pace, with both Superstars showing off their wide array of movesets. Becky targeted Belair’s right arm with continuous attacks. The EST attempted to KOD the barricades, but this was countered squarely by The Big Time Becks, planting them over the barricade with a leg drop. Both women beat each other up hell throughout the matchup, with Belair throwing Becky over his head like nothing.

Bianca Belair escaped the devastating manhandle slam in the last possible millisecond by shrugging her shoulder, and then both women climbed to the top rope to put themselves in a Spanish fly, courtesy of The EST, followed by a KOD over Becky Lynch to keep her Raw Women’s Championship. After the match, Becky showed respect to Belair by hugging her.

The 40,000+ roaring fans at Nissan Stadium went absolutely crazy throughout the game as they were so impressed by the performances of the two leading athletes. Even taking to Twitter, the WWE Universe couldn’t help but praise this amazing encounter.
